Hi, I’m Scarlit Bloome
I’ve always been an empath and a highly sensitive person. I feel things deeply, often absorbing the emotions and undercurrents in a room, then turning inward. There was a time when that felt overwhelming, like something I had to manage or protect myself from. I often felt stuck in my own inner world, unsure how to move through what I was feeling.
I gradually learned how to work with my sensitivity instead of against it. What once felt like too much became a source of clarity, insight, and connection. I did this by embracing creative and embodied modalities, including journaling, intuitive collage, painting, doodling, movement, free-form dance, and healing through sound.
I’ve worked as a graphic designer in both boutique studios and in-house corporations, including Nokia and Vertu. During that time, there were moments when my process felt emotionally blocked and I didn’t feel particularly creative. When I started my own business, designing a pet product line from the ground up, something shifted. I began expressing what I was feeling through movement, sound, and free-form creative exploration, and in doing so, I no longer felt stuck. I began to feel creative once again, with a renewed ability to access my artistic gifts.
As an instructor at my alma mater, ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, I teach both first and final semester students in the Graphic Design department. As a teacher and mentor, I guide students through the emotional pressure that often blocks creativity, helping them release it so they don’t get stuck like I once did.
I now bring these same methods into my coaching practice. I support clients in moving from overthinking to clarity, through an organic, intuitive process that includes reflection, creative expression, and connection with the body.
